Healthcare Convention supports the project SBA GIRASSOL Kids/Pro

A “cesta básica” (a basket full of non-perishable staple food) worth EUR 20 is enough to provide food for a family of four in São Paulo / Brazil for four weeks.

Thanks to the many special donations from our supporters, GIRASSOL has been able to actually prevent all its day-care centre children and vocational school students and their families from going hungry during this difficult CORONA period by providing 350 such food parcels every month since April.

The poor in the slums (“favelas”) are the main victims of this pandemic: they no longer have an income because of the lockdown and are therefore left with nothing, sitting in front of empty plates …

Thanks to donations like the one from Healthcare Convention, it is possible to provide truly sustainable help to several hundred people in a very precarious situation.
